GOTREI Staff

Staff Welcome: Naomi Bratsch-Prince

We're thrilled to welcome a remarkable addition to our GOTR staff family! Her impact as a first-time coach at Grant Wood Elementary in the spring was truly inspiring, and over the past month, she has continued to bring her passion and dedication to our staff.

Let's get to know her a little better in her own words:

"My name is Naomi Bratsch-Prince, and I am the new Program Manager for Girls on the Run of Eastern Iowa. I am originally from Ames, Iowa, but had the opportunity to travel and live in several states while doing conservation and disaster relief during my service in AmeriCorps. I graduated from the University of Iowa this past May with a degree in Health Studies and Human Relations.

I got involved with Girls on the Run (GOTR) this spring as a coach. The experience was such a rewarding one, and it was so special to see each participant grow in their confidence throughout the season. My favorite part was attending the 5K to cheer on my team as they accomplished their season-long goal. As an avid runner myself, I know how great it feels to finish a race! I am passionate about the curriculum of GOTR as it provides a setting for participants to engage in fun, physical activity while also learning important life skills. I am excited to take on this new role and hope to extend GOTR’s mission to even more participants in Eastern Iowa!"

We are so excited to have Naomi on board and look forward to the positive influence she will undoubtedly bring to our organization.
